Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

We had visited Grand Teton National Park twice so far.

Our first visit was in August 2021. Our second visit was in June 2025. Both trips offered different experiences.

August 2021 Visit (1½ Days)

Day 1

We stopped at several scenic lookouts inside the park. Each viewpoint offered clear views of the Teton Range.

We hiked the Jenny Lake Trail to Hidden Falls. The trail was about 2.5 miles round trip. We returned by ferry across Jenny Lake.

We drove along the Snake River scenic drive. The river reflected the mountains beautifully.

We continued to Signal Mountain Drive. The views from the top were wide and impressive.

Day 2

We visited Oxbow Bend early morning for animal sightings but did not have much luck.

We then went to Schwabacher Landing. The calm water created perfect reflections of the peaks.

June 2025 Visit (2½ Days)

Day 1

We started at Colter Bay Visitor Center. We saw a bear near the area.

We walked the Lake Shore Trail. The path was easy and peaceful.

We stopped at a Snake River lookout. The river and mountains formed a classic view.

We visited Oxbow Bend during this visit also. Wildlife activity particularly birds was visible near the water.

We ended the day at Schwabacher Landing. This time due to winds the reflections were not that still
Day 2

We visited a small chapel inside the park. The setting was quiet and scenic.

We took the Jenny Lake Ferry to reach the Hidden Falls Trailhead and hiked the trail to reach the falls. The ferry ride saved time and added comfort.

Day 3

We completed the Grand Teton Loop Drive. The drive covered major highlights of the park.

Both visits were memorable in different ways. Grand Teton National Park always feels timeless.
