We traveled from Masai Mara in Kenya to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, a journey that took around seven hours by road. The road conditions in Kenya were quite rough, though they improved once we crossed into Tanzania. The internationally renowned Masai Mara National Reserve is about 4 hours drive from Lake Naivasha (though the last two hours were quite a challenge due to the rough roads!) Lake Naivasha is about 2 hours drive from Nairobi. It is on the way to Lake Nakuru NP. We stayed at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort and the accommodation was excellent.
