We explored the two national parks (Badlands & Wind Cave) located in South Dakota staying in Rapid City.

Close to the Rapid City is the Black Hills region with several remarkable attractions, including Custer State Park and Mount Rushmore.

On the final day of our trip, we drove to the Black Hills. The drive along the Needles Highway en route to the state park was an experience in itself, offering breathtaking views of the rugged landscape.

Custer State Park, with its picturesque Sylvan Lake, proved to be one of the highlights of our visit and is a must-see destination in South Dakota.

As we made our way to the iconic Mount Rushmore, we traveled along the scenic Iron Mountain Road.

Mount Rushmore is an awe-inspiring monument, and we made sure to capture the moment with plenty of photographs.
