Itinerary:
Day 1: Landed in Bhavnagar airport and drove to Koliaak Nishkalank Mahadev Mandir
Day 2: Drive to Sasan Gir, visit Somnath Temple
Day 3: GIR National Park (Lion Safari), Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, Dwarka, and Beyt Dwarka (by boat)
Day 4: Drive to Jamnagar Airport
We visited Gir National Park in December 2022, combining the trip with visits to the Jyotirlinga temples and Dwarka.

For the lion safari, we mistakenly booked through a private operator instead of the official website. It turned out to be costlier, and on the day of the safari, there was a minor issue when the staff questioned our booking. Fortunately, the representative from the private agency handled the situation and ensured we got our allotted jeep.

The guide and driver were very knowledgeable and stayed in constant touch with other safari drivers, which helped us track the animals more efficiently.
The highlight of the trip was, without doubt, spotting Asiatic lions—not once but at two different locations. Watching these majestic creatures in their natural habitat was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Overall, the safari was well-organized, safe, and thrilling—an absolute must for anyone who loves nature and wildlife.
