Lake Naivasha is about 2 hours drive from Nairobi. It is on the way to Lake Nakuru NP.

We stayed at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort and the accommodation was excellent. The restaurant offered a wide spread of Indian vegetarian food.

In the boat ride at the lake Hippo sightings was the highlight.

Hells Gate National Park is very close to Lake Naivasha.

This is one of the national parks in Kenya where you are allowed to explore the park on your own by renting a bike. We went around in our Safari Van.

Other than Zebra, Giraffe and Buffalos we could not see much wild life in this park. I wish we could have skipped this park.
