Masai Mara National Reserve

The internationally renowned Masai Mara National Reserve is about 4 hours drive from Lake Naivasha (though the last two hours were quite a challenge due to the rough roads!)

We stayed at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge. The accommodation was comfortable with good Indian Veg option at the Restaurant. The wifi network was available only in the reception area.

We went on a full day game drive the next morning.

At the beginning of the drive itself we could witness a dramatic scene of hyena and vultures chasing a prey and a Lion majestically walking towards the commotion.

We had seen a parade of elephants, herd of buffaloes, a big group of hippos, cheetah with cubs, wild beasts, impalas, crocodiles and other animals like giraffes, zebras and monkeys.

Undoubtedly Masai Mara is a must for anyone visiting Kenya.
