Ngorongoro Crater is about 2 hours drive from Serengeti National Park

Our vehicle descended about 2,000 ft to reach the Crater area. 

This being a compact area we could see a lot of wildlife within a couple of hours

The sightings included lion, lioness, wild beast, zebras, warthog, flamingos and a few more animals / birds

On our return we also stopped by at a  viewpoint to look at the Crater and the adjacent Lake from the ground level

We proceeded to karato bougainvillea Lodge for our night stay. We were accommodated in a nice cottage and the restaurant had good veg options.

Overall it was a short and sweet trip
