Lake Manyara National park is about 2 1/2   hours a drive from Ngorongoro crater

It is one of the smallest National park in Tanzania. 

There were a lot of monkeys and a few groups of elephants and some other common animals & birds

The lake itself is nothing remarkable

To be fair to our travel agent they did not include this park in our itinerary but got added as per our request
